Stopping In Hope For Coffee

Blue Moose Coffee

If heading east or west on the Trans Canada Highway and you are in the area of Hope, BC we highly recommend a pitstop at the Blue Moose Café. It has now soundly been determined that on long car rides with two kids under 10, we can only go about 3 hours max without a get-your-energy-out-stop for the kids – the bonus is if we can find someplace with a truly delicious coffee for me!

Blue Moose Café most definitely delivered on the coffee! I picked up a wonderful 20 oz. Maple Caramel Macchiato that I will be trying to duplicate the day we get home! Although we decided we didn’t have time for food it sure looked fresh & yummy. Along with the expected breakfast sandwiches, cookies and sweets there were amazing looking flatbreads, samosas and more! They’re even licensed!
And it was clearly a popular place for locals!

And for the kids’ mandatory get-your-energy-out-stop we were able to head across the street and let them run in the park and climb on playground before getting back in the car for the next leg of the journey.

Just wish I’d known about it on the trip out. But since this will likely become a yearly pilgrimage, we will absolutely be back!
